Lisa has been a freelance writer for several years, and has specialised in many areas, including law, history, and travel.
Her qualifications include Arts and Law degrees from The University of Queensland. During Lisa’s Arts degree she majored in English Literature which gave her a solid grounding in research, writing and the appropriate use of language.
She has had many feature articles published in websites and magazines, such as Pacific Access, Writing Australia, Australian Family Tree Connections and Internet.au. Lisa’s articles for Pacific Access and Writing Australia concerned legal and business issues. She has also reviewed films for Alive Magazine and Crescent Blues, an Internet e-zine.
Her subjects have included the history of the calendar, the history of Saint Valentine's Day and such as copyright and defamation.
She edits the British Social History and Jane Austen topics at Suite 101.
